INTRODUÇÃO
O Dia do Halloween é uma data festejada desde antes de Cristo, quando os
celtas, por volta do século V a.C., celebravam o fim do verão no dia 31 de
outubro. Eles acreditavam que neste dia, todas as bruxas se reuniriam para uma
grande festa.
A tradição foi levada para os Estados Unidos por imigrantes irlandeses e
popularizou-se no final do século XIX. Com o passar do tempo, a comemoração
transformou-se em brincadeira para as crianças e elas passaram a sair às ruas
batendo de porta em porta dizendo Tricks or Treats (travessuras ou gostosuras).
Objetivo
É Fazer com que os alunos conheçam a cultura Americana.
Complementação das aulas de inglês com o com o intuito
de promover a integração entre os alunos.
Levando ao educando o conhecimento dos seguintes mitos e lendas:
- · História do dia da s Bruxas;
- · Lobisomem;
- · Vampiro;
- · Símbolos e tradições.
Por meio de mitos e lendas, trazer também ao conhecimento do aluno a
tradição da cultura Americana como: Comida típica; Danças e crenças.
Desenvolvimento
Como Halloween é uma festividade que atrai os alunos.
Nas aulas de Inglês, deve ter seu espaço com atividades de aprendizagem
além de promover cultura geral.
Iniciamos a aula conversando sobre tradições, sobre superstições; medos
e pesadelos.
Com a pergunta “Do you believe in ghosts?” proporcionou-se um debate.
(Foi reservado um tempo para a troca de ideias.).
Questionamos quanto à expressão "nightmare". O que significa?
Como são os "nightmares" de vocês?
Verificamos que personagens podem habitar nossos "nightmares"
no vídeo a seguir.
Após, assistimos ao vídeo abaixo:
Este vídeo apresenta um capítulo do filme de Tim Burton - "The
nightmare before Christmas", nele podemos assistir a música "This is
Halloween" cantada pelos personagens do filme.
Após a turma assistir ao vídeo uma vez, foi entregue a letra para que observassem
a pronúncia:

Após a pesquisa os grupos organizaram textos com as informações obtidas.

Criar um cartoon alusivo à data.
Atividade II
Apresentação das palavras em fichas, para estudar a pronúncia e o
significado destas:

E produção de frases com as palavras acima.
